The Awards for Excellence
The Awards for Excellence is a Leeds City Council initiative to recognise the hard work and strong motivation to achieve success in the work place.
Georgia is positive, upbeat, ready to learn, honest, funny and most of all, helpful. She is a new apprentice to the authority and she is an absolute breath of fresh air to work and sit with. She will definitely be an asset to LCC as she grows in confidence.
Natasha is never phased by trying something new and has trained well established members of the team on new processes. She has recently mentored two work experience placements with confidence and a positive attitude.
National Apprenticeship Awards
The awards recognise excellence in businesses that grow their own talent through apprenticeships and the apprentices who have made a significant contribution to their workplaces.
The National Apprenticeship Awards challenge top apprenticeship employers and apprentices across England to come forward and show how apprenticeships have made a real difference to their organisation and careers. The awards, now its 13th year, are run by the National Apprenticeship Service and recognise excellence in 2 areas:
- businesses that grow their own talent with apprenticeships
- apprentices who have made a significant contribution to their workplaces
The very best employer category entries will also feature in the prestigious Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers list 2016.
The National Apprenticeship Awards 2016 have now closed for entries, and the judging process has begun.
Regional judging panels will take place over the summer, and the winners and highly commended entries from all 10 areas will be recognised at one of six celebration events held across the country in autumn.
The LCC Apprenticeship Awards
